The serving spoon has a length of 22.5 cm / 8.85″ and a volume of 75 ml or 2.64 Fluid Ounce. It can be used to serve a dish in a restaurant or to serve soup at home. The Borosilicate glass is 100% dishwasher safe.

To craft an object, a glassblower starts with a Borosilicate glass tube. Maarten Baptist designed a series of spoons based on this technique. He asked the glassblower to blow a sphere at the end of a glass tube. After that, the object was cut in half along the length of the tube. Only the edges are polished by flame, after which the logo is laser-engraved on the tube. Glass spoons available in six sizes:

When Maarten first saw this new color at the glassworks, he knew he had to do something with it. And so Louise Lavender was conceived. It features Maarten’s elegant three-legged foot. Tripod Glass Plate is perfect for serving or presenting special desserts and delicate small bites. In 2018 Maarten Baptist extended the series of Jade coffee cups with Milk and Sugar items. They are made from smoky grey Borosilicate glass. The milk jug contains 150 ml liquid and is heat safe can be placed in the microwave. The small spout makes spills almost impossible.

This glass salt- sugar- milk jar embraces functionality and aesthetic qualities. Made of durable grey borosilicate glass, it’s a beautiful practical object to have by your stove when cooking or on a dining table. It comes with a dark brown cork lid, coaster and optional Maarten Baptist’s signature glass spoon made from the same smokey grey glass well with the smoky grey glass Sphere.

In collaboration with a local Dutch glassmaker and a Belgium woodworker, Maarten Baptist created a series of vases. All made from borosilicate glass but in clear and Jade green colour. There are 3 different shapes Wide vase, Middle tall vase and Tall Vase. And the Jade green series also has a Tall vase with a narrow neck.

Dutch designer Maarten Baptist combines ancestral technique with radical boldness. The “tripod” collection of three-footed glasses in borosilicate is seditious.
