JADE porcelain saucer
This porcelain saucer fits all JADE coffee cups (espresso is a bit loose). The series can be ordered in large editions, as to be available for restaurants and bars. Dimension saucer 14 cm x 2 cm.
JADE is Maarten Baptist’s favourite colour. His favourite pastime is anything to do with coffee. This inspired him to design a collection of cups.
Within coffee culture, smell is an important part of the experience. Which shape supports the best taste? In two years, Maarten developed the shape that creates the best taste, together with a local barista and the local producer. In short iterations, the team tested many shapes in search for a unique though archetype shape. For your holding pleasure, the cup has no handle, as it fits in the cradle of your hand. The series’ thick walls will keep your coffee at the best temperature.
Coffee from a quality espresso machine is built up of layers, first the fats, then the tastes and smells. The cups’ round angled walls make coffee flows gently into them.
The cups are presented on a cork coaster that fits two cups. The series can be ordered in large editions, as to be available for restaurants and bars. The producer’s expertise promises the cups can easily be customised with any logo or pattern, but the regular execution is a crème white porcelain. JADE comes in three sizes: espresso, coffee and cappuccino. For consumers a gift box is available with four cups and two coasters.
Coffee cups are dish-washer safe made from porcelain and cork. The gift box is craft colorer and packed with 4 cups and two plates.

The Coatrack by the Meter is one of such products. Working with local industries, Maarten invests in lasting relations with the craftsmen who manufacture the products.

OtherThe hole of the hook creates, allows you to screw the rack onto the wall. They are powder coated in a standard matt black and matt white or mint green, but can the coatracks can be customized in any other colour to fit any interior. As an insider’s joke, Baptist hides his date of birth in every product. The standard 2-hook coatrack is 19.76 centimetres.
Lascivious Sofa “TO”
OtherA typical Maarten-touch – a simple gesture with grand effect – the classic curves of the backrest of his Lascivious Sofa are turned upside down. The regular rounded curve has become a hollow one. The fabric is a charming silk velvet, allowing for the hue of the seat and backrest to be mildly different.
Leather wall clock 50cm
OtherNoon leather clock are made of high quality leather from the Danish company Sørensen Læder A/S, which specialised in vegetal tanned leather for over 40 years. By the place of hanging the pure leather of the clock will change colour through its exposure to light. The side where the light enters the room, the colour will fade somewhat faster than the other face of the clock.
