Dark brown cork lids bring together two other designs by Maarten Baptist: the cylindrical glasses and the handmade glass spoons. Together, they form a set of three perfect for storing your favorite ingredients — the 600 ml jar easily fits 250 grams of roasted coffee beans, while the smaller jars are great for chia seeds or loose tea leaves. Stack them up to turn your pantry or kitchen shelf into a display of functional design.
These compact storage containers combine borosilicate glass with a dark brown natural cork lid – ideal for storing dry goods like roasted coffee beans (600 ml jar fits 250 g beans), chia seeds, organic rice, dried fruit, or candy. Designed to keep contents visible yet sealed, they offer a clean and natural look in any kitchen.
Available in two sizes:
– 400 ml / 11 cm (4.3”) – 500 ml to the rim
– 600 ml / 15 cm (6”) – 690 ml to the rim
Both sizes share the same 8 cm (3”) diameter, and the cork lid fits on either jar. It also fits my glass coffee, tea, and XL mugs, allowing for modular storage. Each cork is cut from dark brown natural cork and also functions as a coaster: 9 × 9 × 2.5 cm (3.5” × 3.5” × 1”).
Made from durable, dishwasher-safe borosilicate glass. The cork should be rinsed with water only – it is not dishwasher-safe.
These jars are designed for dry contents and have not been tested for storing liquids. If you want to use them for liquids or wet food, place a piece of wax paper or foil between the cork and glass for extra sealing.
