The Coatrack by the Meter is one of such products. Working with local industries, Maarten invests in lasting relations with the craftsmen who manufacture the products. With a wink to the shakers’ wall stretching coatracks, the base of the coatracks is a square metal bar of 4 x 4 cm which is laser cut in a six-meter stretch. After which the hooks (which are 10 cm apart) are pulled out by hand.
The hole the hook creates, allows you to screw the rack onto the wall. They are powder coated in a standard white and black or mint green, but can the coatracks can be customized in any other colour to fit any interior. As an insider’s joke, Baptist hides his date of birth in every product. The standard 2-hook coatrack is 19.76 centimetres.

Coffee design, OtherThe cups are presented on a cork coaster that fits two cups. The series can be ordered in large editions, as to be available for restaurants and bars. The producer’s expertise promises the cups can easily be customised with any logo or pattern, but the regular execution is a crème white porcelain. For consumers, a gift box is available with four cups and two coasters. Volume 180 ml 0.04 gallon the cup fits 210 ml to the rim.

Leather wall clock 30 cm 11″
OtherThe clocks have a strong physique, even though they are made of the softest leather. The leather is strenghtened by a paper backing, enforced by a liquid glue. Each is made from a single sheet of leather, in which 12 cuts indicate the hours. The hand stitching gives the clock its solid shape. A slope clockwork silently passes the hours by, giving this clock a soft presence on your wall.

In two years, Maarten developed the shape that creates the best taste, together with a local barista and the local producer. In short iterations, the team tested many shapes in search of a unique though archetype shape. For your holding pleasure, the cup has no handle, as it fits in the cradle of your hand. The series’ thick walls will keep your coffee at the best temperature. 100 ml 0.03 gallon and 150 ml to the rim.
