The name “Lucky Love Chair” stems from its unique design feature. The backrest of the chair consists of three fingers gracefully intertwined, reminiscent of fingers crossed for good luck. The remarkable Lucky Love Chair, a collaborative project I embarked on with buhtiq31.com in 2012. After an extensive 8-year journey, this Dutch design brand helped me bring this chair to life. And in 2014 we presended it the first time at Dutch Design Week Eindhoven on ketelhuisplein.
The Lucky Love Chair is crafted using a unique technique. Thin layers of veneer are carefully pressed together in an aluminum mold, resulting in a stunning and durable piece. This innovative plywood technique was initially developed by the iconic designers Ray and Charles Eames. To bring my vision to reality, I partnered with a reputable German factory that specializes in producing chairs of exceptional quality.
The chair comes in three distinct versions, each catering to different needs. There’s the standard dining chair frame, a bar-height version, and a low lounge variation.

OtherA typical Maarten-touch – a simple gesture with grand effect – the classic curves of the backrest of his Lascivious Sofa are turned upside down. The regular rounded curve has become a hollow one. The fabric is a charming silk velvet, allowing for the hue of the seat and backrest to be mildly different.

OtherThe hole of the hook creates, allows you to screw the rack onto the wall. They are powder coated in a standard black and white or mint green, but can the coatracks can be customized in any other colour to fit any interior. As an insider’s joke, Baptist hides his date of birth in every product. The standard 2-hook coatrack is 19.76 centimetres.
