Welcome to my world of design! I am thrilled to present to you the TriPod Swivel Chair, a creation that holds a special place in my heart. As a Dutch designer, I wanted to infuse this chair with a sense of playful elegance, inspired by the charm of kids’ furniture.
The TriPod Swivel Chair may appear like a chair made for little ones, but don’t be fooled by its whimsical aesthetics. It stands at a normal dining height, ensuring that it is just as suitable for adults as it is for children. I wanted to create a chair that brings joy to all ages.
One of the features that truly sets this chair apart is the swivel function. I wanted to make sitting and standing up a delightful experience, so I incorporated a smooth and effortless swiveling mechanism. No more struggling or discomfort when you need to turn or get up. With a simple twist, you can gracefully glide out of the chair.
Imagine gathering around a round table, surrounded by these playful chairs. Their galvanized tripod bases boast a captivating multi-color finish, adding a touch of vibrancy and visual appeal to your space. To ensure stability and protect your floors, I have equipped the chairs with rubber caps. However, if you prefer a softer touch, you can easily replace them with felt pads.
The seat of the TriPod Swivel Chair is crafted from high-quality plywood, finished with a beautiful oak veneer. To give it that extra touch of durability, I applied a strong floor finish with an ultra-matte look. This not only protects the wood but also enhances its natural beauty. And if you desire a different color, customization options are available to suit your taste.
At a seating height of approximately 45cm (18 inches), the TriPod Swivel Chair offers a comfortable and ergonomic experience. It is designed to fit seamlessly into various settings, whether it’s your home, office, or a bustling café.

Coffee design, OtherThis decoration is showing that we can place a transfer from the outside to the inside on the cup. And there is a nice 14 karat golden detail to it.

OtherWith a wink to the shakers’ wall stretching coatracks, the base of the coatracks is a square metal bar which is laser cut in a 100 cm, 50 cm and 19,76 cm stretch. After which the hooks (which are 10 cm apart) are pulled out by hand.
TUBE Cabinet modular system
Chairs and Tables, OtherThe Tube Cabinet is a design I created for an expo in Milan back in 2016. VIJ5 asked if they could add this modular cabinet system to their collection, and I’m thrilled that they want to include it alongside the popular Coatrack by the Meter and my glass candle holder. This modular cabinet system is crafted using the same production technique that I find so fascinating: a tube laser.

OtherThe hole of the hook creates, allows you to screw the rack onto the wall. They are powder coated in a standard black and white or mint green, but can the coatracks can be customized in any other colour to fit any interior. As an insider’s joke, Baptist hides his date of birth in every product. The standard 2-hook coatrack is 19.76 centimetres.
